You want the two boxes above the plus sign. The top one is for picking your effect and the bottom one for picking the parameter of that effect that you are aiming to automate.
Let me know how you get one.
Cheers
Keith

You will need to update to 8.1.3 or higher. The download is free from the Ableton website.

Re: Free Videos
I have changed the videos over to my new website. http://www.quantizecourses.com It's the same premise as before, totally free videos. The courses we run have become very successful so we decided to merge my website with the course website, where the videos are concerned nothing has changed though. ...

Re: Good compression plugins
Hi,
I really like the fabfilter EQ and also their compressor. That said I regularly use the compressor in Live, I personally think its top notch for lots of material.

Re: SWing ur kick
Most grooves don't touch the kick anyway. The kick stays constant so the other swung elements have something to relate to. Assuming all of the kicks are swung the same amount the DJ will just mix as normal and the other elements will appear to have the groove applied.

Re: Progressive trance track
No worries, the full on part after the breakdown (or at least when it kicks in) is usually refered to as 'the drop'.

New remix work.
Hi guys,
All of our tracks (MIDI09) can be found at the end of this link. The top 3 are our new remixes and it would be great to hear any feedback from the forum.

Re: New minimalist/techno tracks
I'm a little confused, these are neither minmalist nor techno? Not sure if you are labeling your tracks this because of the current fashion but they don't fit even close to these categories. One thing I did notice though, and it probably ties in with the post above, your kick drum is really lacking ...

Hey, nice that your playing stuff live like that. One tip, you're better off without those harsh filter cuts, they are very extreme and also a bit to predictable.
Keep it mate.

Re: Alarm Call (trilian synth patches demo)
One more question, the patches in Trilogy can be really dominating in the mix and need some serious EQ to keep them under control. Same story with Trilian?
