Allright, I think I figured it out: the plugins I tried to load on an audio track obviously aren't recognized as plugins that are able to receive MIDI by Live, so I don't have the mentioned routing option.

@stb (Stefan): I don't have the routing option for MIDI in audio tracks. There are just audio input options. I also can't route it on the MIDI track.
What can I do to getthis routing options?

I'm having exact the same problem, trying it with MEqualizer (http://www.meldaproduction.com/freevstplugins/mequalizer.php) and in MIDI tracks there's no way to send MIDI to an audio track. I just can choose sending MIDI to MIDI- and/or instrument tracks.

thanks for your input, tried this, but (nearly) no changes.
One thing is better now: when I selected for example a LFO in Kontakt and pressed delete, in Live 7 the LFO was just deleted. In Live 8 the whole plugin was deleted (so I assume the keyboard wasn't forwarded to the plugin).

I don't know, if this is an issue caused by Live, but it appeared since I updated to Live8.
I'm loading NI Kontakt 2 (2.2.4.001) and opening it.
Then I try to rename a track or to delete something in Kontakt, but nothing happens.
