Multicore support.

If Live 5 had multicore support, i would not upgrade to Live 7. I will try eventually Live 7 Demo since the Betas are for Live 6 users only. I guess Live 5 users are not real hardcore fans! ? !

Upgrading from Live 5.

I'm still running Live 5 without Operator. I did'nt thought Live 6 was bad! I just did'nt need it. As a matter of fact the main reason i'm going for Live 7 is because i will buy a new QuadCore computer very soon and i want to take advantage of the multicore support. The Live 7 suite is a fair deal! ...

I have purchased a Quiet Power Supply and CPU cooling fan but it was still to much noise for my taste. So i've put my PC in another room with a small isolated hole in the wall. Now it is dead silent in my studio!! If you have an extra room, go for it!

I have recently discover Fretted Synths stuff. They have three very free "VST Audio triggered Synths" . On my guitar they work extremely well. The tracking is just beautiful. It does not translate to MIDI but it shure is a great alternative for Guitar Synth. The Tripp Lead sounds amazing. http://207...

It could be very nice indeed. But it would be very difficult for the Abes to know if the files posted are legal. People could ripoff loops for commercial package and make them available here for free... :(

Actually you can control more than one instrument at once. Just assign two VSTI to 2 differents tracks. Arm both tracks and there you go. If you want to transpose or have a split keyboard use Live's built in MIDI device Pitch and select your range. I have done monster stacks and splits using this te...

There is actually an easy work around for this. You just record a midi clip (could be just one note). Then you drag the clip to a specific folder in the Live Browser. Recalling that clip in another Liveset will bring all VST'S attach to it! That way you can build a nice collection of presets for you...

Global and Individual clip properties automation

It would be nice to be able to have an individual mode to assign clips parameters. Presently it behaves globaly so if you assign the transpose or clip start point to a MIDI knob, it will modify the current selected clip. Wich is very convenient under general musical usage. The invidual mode would al...

M-Audio Audiophile 2496, 4 inputs with Live

What would be the cheapest solution to use all 4 inputs of my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 card with Live?? The card has 2 analog in and 2 digital spdif in. Actually i just need a cheap analog to spdif converter. Any suggestion ?? I currently use all 4 outputs with the help of an home theatre amplifier w...

Display and Audio out of sync ??

Is this a known bug or i'm the only one ???

Every now and then in a clip when i move the loop start and loop end or the clip start and clip end point, sometimes the display of the clip becomes completely out of sync with the audio result. I have noticed this with audio and MIDI track.
