If Live 5 had multicore support, i would not upgrade to Live 7. I will try eventually Live 7 Demo since the Betas are for Live 6 users only. I guess Live 5 users are not real hardcore fans! ? !

I have purchased a Quiet Power Supply and CPU cooling fan but it was still to much noise for my taste. So i've put my PC in another room with a small isolated hole in the wall. Now it is dead silent in my studio!! If you have an extra room, go for it!

There is actually an easy work around for this. You just record a midi clip (could be just one note). Then you drag the clip to a specific folder in the Live Browser. Recalling that clip in another Liveset will bring all VST'S attach to it! That way you can build a nice collection of presets for you...

Every now and then in a clip when i move the loop start and loop end or the clip start and clip end point, sometimes the display of the clip becomes completely out of sync with the audio result. I have noticed this with audio and MIDI track.
