for no apparent reason, i can no longer preview loops from the browser - I have to physically drag and drop them into the track to hear them which is obviously a pain because its nice to preview loops whilst your track is playing - Does anyone have any advice ? Have i changed a setting perhaps ...

I am using a condenser mike and i have got a Creative Soundblaster Xtreme Audio soundcard - however, i was on the phone to a technical support centre last night and they think the sound card is faulty so i am going to replace it and see if anything changes - thanks for your responses everyone

I have Ableton insatlled on my lappy all running perfectly - I have now installed it on a new pc and everything is working fine apart from i cant seem to get any levels on the line in from an external microphone. The record arms are enabled and look as they should but i am getting no level at ...
