i mostly agree with ricardo
the strong points about ableton live are the workflow and the live jamming possibilities, but for sure not the purity of sound. the freedom in the workflow has a price -> warping artefacts
it is the easiest DAW to use, so many dj's have started producing generic hype ...

so it is definitive? do i have to write to the support?
i read somewhere that you can deauthorize a computer from the options menu
but can't find this.
i need to deauthorize a computer to transfer the unlock to my new one

since a couple of days i can't drag the ableton presets into the tracks
only a small amount of them are working
i can drag the units, but not the presets
i have tried to update live to the latest release with no result

i'm also looking for a looping device, i have seen three candidates:

boss rc20
boss rc50
and akai e2 headrush (like see the light)

does anybody have more information about those units?

yes it looks very interesting. what is the difference with the evolver?
i mean: both are analog, monophonic, and have a step sequencer... does the mopho have less features (probably yes) but which ones?

i hope so
the main critics i have heard were:

- preset sounds not so good
- buggy OS

but the possibilities of the "machine" seem good to me

another possibility in this direction would be the access virus snow, just much more expensive...
