Re: Crashing On Live 10.0.5

I have a crash that happens every time on 10.5 and the latest beta, just sent this to support: I have an issue with live 10.5 and the 10.5b6. Crash happens when I do the following: Session view on push 2 hit clip view hold select and select an empty clip space in an audio track scroll to user files...

Re: Saving multiple clips for single audio file

Simply drag your clips from your Live Session into Live's Browser : - either one by one to have access to load them individually - or as a selected group of clips to have access to load the whole group Depending on what you have selected in the Collect Files on Export preferences, it will either: -...

Saving multiple clips for single audio file

Hoping someone can help me out. I'm setting up a DJ setup with ableton and I want to arrange it so I have a record crate folder, then each track has a folder of its own with the main track audio file and then ideally clip files for each of the main sections of the track looped and labeled so I can l...

Push 2 ever on sale?

Hi,

Re: Ableton 10.0.2 performance loss.

Quick post to say I also have UI freezes pretty much constantly, makes the software nearly unusable without switching to 60hz down from 140.
Very frustrating. gtx970 card, dell 27" 1440p 140hz gsync monitor.

Re: I want to quit.

Don't quit! People get so hung up on finishing tunes and being productive.. DON'T! A hobby you enjoy doesn't have to have a 'finished product', think about people who go fishing and throw the fish back into the lake, or people who go for a run, or read books, or watch films, or travel... a week afte...

Re: Which USB cable came with Push?

I replaced mine with one that had a right-angle since it was tidier, so same question- which of the many USB cables is the right one?

Re: Madeon's Ableton Setup

Never heard of him before and I completely hate the music and style of f-ing it all around every four beats. That said, good for him if he's into it. Looking at it I got the impression his tracks were pre-cut into sections (intro/build/break1/..etc) and given the choppy nature of it properly less se...

Re: NI's new 'stems' files in Live?

the difference is it takes that actual work/fun out of being a DJ, right? "digging in the crates", "beat matching"... pfft! that's for old timers. if you really want to stay ahead of the curve, stop doing anything and leave music making to algorithms. Surely the point of these files is to give DJs ...

The current drivers work great for me on win10 64 with a 18i8, installed perfectly and not had a single issue with it.

Re: NI's new 'stems' files in Live?

I just figured you'd drag it in from the browser and it'd create 5 audio tracks, one per stem and the master. That'd be fine for my needs.

NI's new 'stems' files in Live?

In case you've not heard of it, NI has released this new 'stem' file system today, where the file extension is .stem.mp4, and the file includes a mixed master which will play on any MP4-capable player, but also 4 separate stems that make up the track. They are selling it as a DJ-tool mostly, but I'v...

Re: Looking for a partner :)

Hi Chaps, reading this got me thinking... maybe if you find a few people who are up for this as well as partnering up and collaborating directly you could make a small group of 4-6 people to share ideas, project files, words of encouragement and advice etc. Seems like it'd be good for motivation and...

Re: Surface 3 Bitwig prototype

Its not just the touch interface itself thats frustrating. I own push and Live suite 9, so I'm pretty committed to Live and I've only taken a cursory glance at bitwig out of curiosity, yet even I can tell you bitwig are working on a cool sounding modular environment and a touch interface, both of wh...
