Re: Arpeggiator problem...help!

Just to point out that this problem is only happening when sync is engaged. If I set the timing of the arp myself it works fine.

Arpeggiator problem...help!

I've got the Classic UpDown 8th Arp on a bass track and it was all working fine for a while. Suddenly, and for no reason I can find, it has stopped sounding the first beat of the bar. It's like it's offset (it's not) to skip the first beat of the bar. I've deleted it and put it back but the problem ...

Using one channel of drum rack to trigger side chain

Any ideas or workarounds for this? I want to use one sound from my drum rack to trigger the side chain of the compressor but I can't seem to select any of the individual tracks within the drum rack as a trigger.

Re: Anyone using Adobe Audition?

Version 3. Use it at the radio station I work at. It's pretty unrivalled for editing audio. It sucks for mixing and arrangement and everything else. But if, for example, you have an interview that you want to edit (take out coughs, noise, shorten down the length) it kills. I haven't used anything th...

Re: Anybody recommend a decent multi-sampled double bass?

Had a good run at the PM one last night. It's pretty sweet. I was really only after the multimic'd plucked upright but you get loads more than that with it and it's so cheap that it's a no-brainer. Having had a good go at it I think it would be nice if there was some way of controlling the amount of...

Re: Anybody recommend a decent multi-sampled double bass?

Trillian is great. not in the same ballpark, but worth a try is Puremagnetik's Upright: http://www.puremagnetik.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=187&Itemid=161 Thanks for that. Got the Puremagnetik one and it's perfect for my purposes. Haven't had a chance to give it a real...

Anybody recommend a decent multi-sampled double bass?

I want a great sounding double bass that I can play in Sampler, with a few different velocity layers. Any recommendations?

Audio dropout when switching record ready track

I am working on a live set at the moment and part of the set involves switching which tracks are in record ready mode, a straightforward enough requirement I would have thought. But, when I activate the record ready on a different track I get an audio drop out. Any clue why?

Very sad. Man was a legend. The cancer seems to have been a very rare genetic form and not linked to lifestyle in any way. I always thought the Beasties would live forever.

Re: for the Hardware Headz....Der OTO

Wow, it's finally happened. I officially have HF (Hardware Fatigue). I no longer lust after new pieces of equipment. I feel a general sense of ennui at the idea of learning and practicing with a new toy. I never thought I would see the day. I think I need a holiday. On a beach. Naked. Alone...
