Re: Wav files recorded on separate devices not aligning in Live
Yeah, it was an on the spot solution. We were supposed to be recording a two mic interview that turned into three mics so we had to make do there and then (only two mic inputs on the Zoom) and my friend just happened to have his laptop and portable two channel interface with him, hence the combinati...

Re: Wav files recorded on separate devices not aligning in Live
Thanks for all the replies. I suppose I assumed that digital clocks would be precise and matched across different devices. I did a clap at the start of the recording to sync up the files, I never thought I would need one at the end as well
I'll make sure to do that next time.

Re: Wav files recorded on separate devices not aligning in Live
Hmmm... that I do not know. I will have a look at the Zoom and see what it is set at. I'm assuming my friend who recorded into Ableton has left it at the default settings so possible 16bit but I will ask him. Could that cause the kind of issue I'm talking about?

Re: Wav files recorded on separate devices not aligning in Live
Thanks for the reply Tarekith. Yes, no warping in the new project. All the files are unwarped and untouched, yet the Ableton recorded file seems to move at a very slightly quicker pace than the Zoom recorded tracks (no pitch difference as the files are of the one conversation so I can hear the spill...

Wav files recorded on separate devices not aligning in Live
Recorded an interview with two mics going into a Zoom hard disc recorder and one mic recording into Ableton Live. I'm now editing the interview down and the file recorded into Ableton seems to be running at a slightly different speed. After every (roughly) 2 minutes the audio starts to audibly separ...

Emulating 303 "Slide" function in clip controls?
Any idea how I would do this? Been playing with the 303 app on my android and loving the slide function. Would like to implement it in Monark but the problem seems to be that Glide is either always on, legato, or always off. In legato I've programmed a midi clip with overlapping notes but Monark jus...

Re: CPU overload playing just audio files. No fx. No midi. ?????
A lot of Complex Pro warping being turned on is my guess too. Bang on the money Tarekith (kudos to Stromkraft too!). Thanks. I will adjust and try again. Didn't realise I had changed it to default warp using complex and each audio clip is causing the CPU to jump by 5-10%. I'll report back tomorrow ...

Re: CPU overload playing just audio files. No fx. No midi. ?????
Yeah, I'm setting it up for her to play live. To be able to trigger the separate parts on stage and have a bit more control and flexibility than the current setup of backing tracks. But I was hoping to be putting a whole live set together. It's not gonna work if just playing that much audio in one t...

CPU overload playing just audio files. No fx. No midi. ?????
So I got a multitrack project from a friend. All audio. Around 50 tracks in it and it's a 5 minute song. Consolidated each section (Verse, Chorus, Etc) to new scene in session view. Deleted all the original tracks from arrangement view. Went in to session view and deleted all unnecessary clips (clip...
