Apologies if you're trying to listen, having real trouble with that site for hosting songs right now. Worked fine last night evidently, but not today. May post again when i get some reliable hosting space.

Sorry again,

I thought the audio was fine, once i'd used Complex warp mode, taken the WPM (words per minute) up to 132, given everyone a stutter with beat repeat and then finally used a nice combination of PSP Vintage Warmer and EQ4 on the master channel.

EDIT: Of course I have to qualify my original post by saying it is a trade off between the usefulness of the PDC feature and the saved CPU. It all depends on your set and which VSTs you're using.

Live 5 CPU Issues tip

Ok, it seems a few people on here have been experiencing CPU issues with live 5. So did I. My PC is fairly underpowered and i was having trouble, even with mainly audio and a couple of frozen VSTis. So, a few people have posted this but i felt it was worth its own topic as it's so useful to me - Tur...

Check out NITSA (live bands and then excellent djs) & Mond Bar. Also if you visit the excellent CD Drome on c/valldoncella they have loads of flyers / tickets for what's going on, as well as a really nice selection of records. For Bars, anywhere in the Gothic area is nice. Loads of really small ...

um, i actually think tilting your laptop is quite a nice idea actually - can you imagine a busy dancefloor, then you suddenly lift your laptop very very slowly up 5 inches and the tempo goes up 5bpm? Then you move it towards them which triggers a note? Pull it back and it plays another? You could us...

I have all the tolerance in the world for anyone who has searched the forum, read the manual, done the tutorials, bought and digested 'Ableton Live 4 Power!', and has a rudimentary grasp of English grammar and common human courtesy. After that, there are no dumb questions... agreed, but.... on an i...

The 'DJing with live 3' tutorial should be on the ableton home page in giant flashing neon lights. Seriously, it's a great tutorial (as are most of the rest of them), it sets out everything you need to know step by step and in non-technical language, with plenty of screenshots. Those tutorials were ...

so.... is anyone here willing to do a little breakdown of the different types of (pc & mac?) processors? Thought i knew a bit, but laptop processors especially are a little confusing, even intel alone have 3 (maybe more?) types which have incomparable clock speeds. I have an AMD Duron 1Ghz which...
