Just downloaded & installed the Modular Moog V2.5 synth & whilst it sounds utterly super as a stand alone........I cannot get Live 8.0.5 to recognise the VST files at all. It appears as an Audio Unit in Live, I even got Automap in Live to see Modular Moog V2.5 but my VST Local folder just ...

To close the loop on this thread, the issue I had with Live crashing was down to Automap from Novation not working well with all VST plug-in products. Once I removed the Automap VST mappings for both Blue & RG, I got my project back & everything now works just fine in Live.

The issue had with Live crashing was solved by the folks at Rob Papen. I have been using the Novation SL keyboard with Automap - Automap is fantastic to use.....but doesn't work well with all VST plug-in products. And I found to my cost that both Blue & RG do not work with the current version of ...

Seems that my problem was down to some of the plug-ins I used (Rob Papen's Blue & RG). Once I removed these plug-ins my retrieving saved projects problem went away.
