Re: Live slow startup solved! (Not Really)
Same here. The first start of Live 10 after a reboot (on Mac) takes quite long. Loading the first set takes ages (up to 10 minutes). This came into place after updating to macOS Catalina and its f*ck*** new rights system. I could imagine it has something to do with app parts that do not have enough ...

Re: Fades - How to turn them off?
Live doesn't apply any sort of fade out to exports other than the ones you draw on the track. Sorry, not sure what you're referring to. :( Well, it seems it does. When exporting a drum loop (consisting of 2 midi tracks) the very first kick sounds different to the rest. See the picture: The first tr...

Re: Fades - How to turn them off?
I'm on Live 9 and want to disable these auto fades on audio exports. The "create fade" option doesn't seem to affect audio exports, only when freezing. Isn't there a way to export audio without those fades?

Re: Midi Workflow
There is a cool thing you can do: Just drag the midi window to full size. To exit just use SHIFT + TAB. That way you can simply double click any midi or audio clip, edit in full size and won't have to drag the window small again. For me that was a lifesaver when I found that shortcut.

Re: Start next clip via midi controller?
Btw: The scene up/down arrows were mentioned before yet. But I thought that these arrows to start the next/previous scene. Didn't know that it's just a selector. So sorry for disclaiming these tipps!

Re: Start next clip via midi controller?
Well there are Follow Actions. Click the L in the clip info section and you'll see the various options. You could also get a Launchpad for manually launching clips with ease. I need to skip tracks manually (like selecting tracks when djaying), so follow actions won't help here. Launchpad: Yes, this...

Re: Start next clip via midi controller?
You mean selecting tracks via shortcuts? Not really, as it's too many tracks. Perfect would be a simple "previous/next" clip function.North63 wrote:Is Keyboard mode an option?

Re: Start next clip via midi controller?
You're looking to select the clips without playing them right? Not exactly. I want to be able to choose/play one clip of a track while a clip on the other track is playing. As I don't want to use the mouse I need to be able to browse/skip the clips one by one. But I couldn't find a "play previ...

Re: Start next clip via midi controller?
Hit ctrl+M and look in the down part of the scene area Na, that doesn't help. Sorry I didn't explain properly: I have 2 tracks with loads of clips each. I would want to select the clips individually via controller, not whole scenes. So if track 1 is playing a clip I want to choose clips on track 2 ...

Start next clip via midi controller?
Hi, for djaying with Live I'm looking for a smart solution to "browse" through all clips I have on a track. I know that Push and APCs can do this, but both units are very big. I'd love to use something smaller and I don't want to touch a mouse while playing. Is there any possibility to jum...

Re: EDIT: Ableton replies - Says crash a MASCHINE issue??
Same problem here with Maschine Studio and Maschine 2 when used as vst plugin. Had a Live song which couldn't be opened anymore because Maschine always freezed on startup. Only removing the plugin worked. I'm quite confident that the Maschine plugin isn't working correctly. Hopefully there'll be an ...

Re: The Little List of Tips and Tricks
Just a little hint, but sooo valuable:
Found out by accident that you can scroll the mixer and arrangement view left and right with holding ALT + CMD + Left Mouse Button.
This saves so much time because you don't have to zoom.
