did youu try resetting the motu to factory conditions? i think it's the last option in the menu on the interface itself. i had a similar problem with logic a while back and this solved it....

Been working with Live for a few months, and here are a few things that would really speed up my workflow. I come from using logic and protools as my mainstay, maybe some of these ideas are possible, but i don't know of them yet.... anyways, any info would help, thanks...
