Re: Lemur Shuffler
for some reasons,it is now working !
can't tell why, but it is probably related to the particular order in which things are set up and/or turned on.

Re: Lemur Shuffler
hi ! I spent time on it, but I haven't manage to make it work : though I need to first set steps to 15 then coming back to 16, the Live to Lemur communication is ok ! lemur reflects what I do on live.. but the opposite (my main interest of course) doesn't work... I can't trigger any response in Live...

Re: The (hopefully soon to be) ultimate SURROUND sound topic!
So, +1 to Surround Sound support from me - especially in the context of performance. Yes! Yes Yes ! It's so sad that it is still that rare nowadays (and I don't understand it). and so hard to get the gear for it in venues. I hope I'll really be able to do it quite often in the future. Has anyone be...

Re: Chapelier fou, little live video
Second part is here, not so good from my point of view. (If you'd like to visit the Red R...

Re: Who is your favourite DJ?
not much into DJing, though I love what theses guys do : Amon tobin, though it's definitely not the DJing part of him I like the most. DJ Spooky, for the music and the writtings. DJ Dam's, but unfortunetaly this guy just plays once a year, somewhere lost in the woods. first time I heard him, I was b...

Re: The brain on music - EVERYBODY knows the pentatonic scale
All the intervals in the pentatonic scale are the really stable mathematical relationships. A lot of my friends are having babies, you start singing that "Doe, a deer, a female deer" song from "the Sound of Music" typical happy Major scale action, they immediately start smiling ...

Re: Your favourite books about music....????
too much to name them all. Beside the Curtis Roads books already named, here are a few of my faves : paul miller (aka DJ Spooky) : - Rythm Science - sound unbound (with great mix-albums coming with it) Traverthen and Malloch : Communicative musicality (more like psychology of the very early processe...

Re: Keeping the damn master level below 0db
indeed the option I've chosen recently. I'm taking an almost-one-year break away from stages, to rethink and practice my whole electronic-instrumentation. don't wanna stop being an instrumentist (and improviser), because of the easiness of programmability of laptop softwares. just want to keep being...

Re: Keeping the damn master level below 0db
you have the right words subfunk... except if, again, he needs the resampling function... if the master is not set to 0db, when you lanuch your resampling clip you won't get easily the same volume compared to the clips-to-be-resampled- playing toghether. wich is a problem, in a live situation. (tha...
