I really miss 2 features in Live 4 which I am having problems with Live 5.03 and 5.2. 1. Turning off the warp feature while a clip is playing and renaming clips on the preview mode. Any problems with anyone?

CPU Throttling - Pops & clicks / noise bursts with Laptops
I downloaded the speedswith program and still having problems.

Running win xp home and I can not change IRQ's.

Bios does not let me disable onboard audio.

Ran with Live 4.04,4.1.1,4.12,4.1.4,Live beta 5

You will have to swap the controller boards from the old to the new.

Buy a new usb hd case and a new maxtor internal drive. Replace the controller card. Wala, your data should safe. 1/2 hour to fix under $200 to spend. Good luck.

I've tried 2 different cables, and still hd dismounts occasionally. Alot of overload red lights. I originally had on sp1, and my laptop would not see my firewire hd, so I upgraded to sp2 with fire device uploader. My is also partition in 4 parts nfts. Maybe USB is the way to go.

According to Lacie, they recommed installing sp2 because it handles firewire better. By the way, I'm using the 4 pin config cable. Pcmcia cards do not work with the LAcie hd.
