Wavediver

https://soundcloud.com/simon-waters/wavediver Here's my latest song. I'm very slow at writing lyrics and very shy to sing what I've written so I tend to make instrumental stuff. I don't know many musicians so would love to get some feedback from people, please comment if you can think of something c...

Re: Here’s a new song... looking for some feedback on my mixing

I really like your song. I'm no expert but I would cut out more of the bass frequencies to give it a brighter tone, bring the guitar forward and personally I would add another element such as a pad, strings or organ to the chorus to fill it out more.

I'm very impressed with your sound design. Lots of original noises and decently rhythmic too.

Instrumental electronic track

I've been away from song writing for ages and just this year got back into it. I decided to start writing a song every month and this is December's effort. I would love to hear some feedback if anyone likes it.

Re: New to Ableton

I like your track. Nice progression, sounds and melodies. The only thing I would say is that the fourth chord in the sequence is a little unclear sometimes, it seems like you're moving to 2 different chords at the same time and it doesn't work for me.

Re: Ambient/IDM, need criticism!

Heyup - good work there. The subtle reverb gives it a clear and punchy feel. If I was gonna be picky I'd say that the piano playing is dominated by crotchet and quavers notes which gives it a slightly mechanical feel... try runs of triplets and semiquavers to give feel.

2p please.

Dig it.
Love the bassline.
Beats sound a "little out of the box".

Overall still good.

Tried to stay away, but like a car accident... I have FAITH that limbs cannot regrow, because the quantity of data supporting this is massive. Other's belief in a system you don't agree with is hard to fight against. If everyone believed in God and was righteous it would be easy for miracles to hap...

Quotes edge100: Absolutely true; there are numerous Christian sects that accept homosexuals. That's wonderful. They are simply ignoring scripture, which you do every day by failing to prosecute with death those who disobey the Ten Commandments. Religious moderates betray faith AND reason equally. I...

Scripture says "do not test god" so experiements designed to test the existance of God are bound to fail. As to the effects of religion on behavious I'm with a lot of people in that it can have no effect or a detrimental effect. But surely studying ethics or morals would increase someone's...

I thought the churches position was that until Jesus died for our sins, the path to Heaven was blocked by original sin. Some churches anyway. I may have been half asleep in RE class when it was mentioned. Well my point was that if you live for the light, the truth and the way (which Jesus represents...
