Your missing the point....I said PowerPC is a superior architecture (which is different from 2 chips from 2 manufacturers being different in speed tests). It holds many advantages over X86!! Such as? Is it more efficient? easier to optimise for? better at scaling to multiple cores? It's all very we...

Yeah, that must be why a Core 2 Duo destroys a dual G5 clock for clock. Maybe it was different 10 years ago, but...

Here's an excellent site from a guy who meticulously reconstructed the scene of the JFK assassination in CGI, based on photos and film footage. http://www.jfkfiles.com/jfk/html/intro.htm As for 9-11, any of those crackpot theories can be picked apart in 15 seconds by someone with a bit of common sen...

Apparently Intel's Conroe chips will work in many existing LGA 775 motherboards, so it might be worthwhile to get an Intel board and then upgrade to a Conroe chip later. Actually, here's something that may be of interest to you: http://www.hkepc.com/bbs/news.php?tid=593760 It's in chinese, but the b...

Switching off hard downsampling in redux would give similar results to the high pass filter in an old sampler. Personally I prefer the extra grittiness of hard.

DJM800 & DJM1000 = audiophile sound quality. especially when you use the digital in/outs. Everything is processed and mixed 100% digitally, at 32-bit 192khz and in/outs are at 24/96.

96khz = overkill
192khz = complete and utter overkill

I dare anyone to be able to tell the difference between 96khz and 48khz in a blind listening test.

IMO the only thing it's useful for is if you want to record some audio and then slow it down without losing top end frequencies

my version of winxp is on a bunch of recovery discs for a pc laptop, so its not like a normal install. You could just get a copy of the full Win XP install CD off bit torrent and use a legit product key, such as the one that's probably stuck on the back of the computer that you got the recovery dis...
