I suspect if they new how/when it could be fixed, they would comment. It may be a fundimental re-write of major code, in which case I doubt they would even look at it with 9 just about to be released (and 64 bit).

Which leaves me wondering why I'd bother with Live 9 and it's not-to-be-sneezed-at ...

I use Live to write original songs. My voice is pretty bad as far as carrying a tune. Can I use the Vocoder feature to smooth out my voice when it 'wanders' off pitch?


I find Autotune EFX using just the Pitch Correct mode sorts out my vocals without too much Cher effect

The first day people were complaining that they had to pay anything at all, when, quite frankly, the upgrade pricing seemed reasonable enough... especially ...

I own Kontakt but I haven't used it for a few years and then I only used it with Cubase.

I am running up against the limitations of simpler and was thinking of using Kontakt again (I have forgotten how to use it so I need to relearn quite a lot) but then I thought it might be best to pay for ...

I remember quite liking the demo but it was frelling ages ago and I was broke - fast forward to now and I can't run the demo as it says my time is up.
It would make more sense for it to "run the full version for 10 days and thereafter it makes a noise every 20 seconds" or somesuch - I don't get ...

What tells you that? Their website's been saying the beta is almost ready since January.. I wouldn't be holding by breath.
