I tried your patch and can confirm the same behavior... FM8 plays an octave lower in 64bit.

Same OSX/version specs as you, except using a MBP.

Are you loading the FM8 patch fresh onto a 64bit Live session or are you opening a saved 32 bit session into 64bit?

(I ask because there have been some issues with some parameters not being kept/remembered with FM8 patches when reopening saved projects in some DAWs).

Don't think it's unfair to say that these bridges are at best temporary workarounds for the problem. The one's I've tried on OSX for Reaper, Cubase and Logic have all had their quirks that make using them a pain in the ass. Even JBridge isn't without it's issues. How about selecting the audio track of the live snares and using the 'Slice to new midi track option' ... then replace the corresponding slices with samples from your library?

If you have a great workflow going within Live already incorporating Maschine might throw a few spanners in the works.

If drum racks and rhythm creation isn't doing it for you in Live, Maschine is a lot of fun in that department.

I have a Nocturn 25 keyboard controller and Automap 4.4.0 installed (I don't automap any plugins, mainly use the keyboard and sometimes the knobs, which map to the selected instrument/effect in Live). Are you using the VST or AU?

I've noticed in the past that the Absynth VSTs are a bit funny and that I need to have both Absynth.vst and AbsynthST.vst in place for Absynth to load properly (and IIRC only the Stereo version will load/sound properly when loaded in a stereo channel).
