Re: Selling musics

That is not to say that you can't give away the material for the promotion of your other work.
You still might get made to take it down if the original artists lawyers are annoying enough though.

Re: Sigur Ros Kick drum

I heard somewhere that they pitched them down slightly.
Maybe it was that they were recorded to tape played slightly faster then slowed down into the correct tempo.
You need some acoustic drum samples really, then try pitching them down slightly.
Might be wrong though.

Laptop + Controller Gig Cases

Hi guys, I was wondering what you use to carry your stuff around to gigs and such. I've been looking to buy/build a carry case for Laptop/Soundcard + MIDI controllers (Launchpad/MIDI Keyboard/Knobs etc.) but have found a hard time finding anything on the market that suits this need. There are plenty...

Hi guys, here's a new promo from my project h2drOp, using water as it's main source we use Ableton and MaxforLive to sculpt the sounds into dance music. controlling parameters with envelopes and midi controllers

hi guys I'm trying to sort out a controller scheme for my live set. I would like to be able to control parameters like sends and effects with clip envelopes while also allowing this parameter to be controlled with the knobs on my oxygen 8. I have found to control a parameter with clip envelopes I ha...

Re: dirty echo coming soon.

Nice piece.

Reverb can be simulated with lots of delay lines and filters.
Look at [yafr] for inspiration.

I made a grungy spring echo simulation in gen~ that I might port to maxforlive to compliment this effect.

Re: MAX 6 ?

As far as I can tell, most works the same. I have had troubles with Henkes Granulator in Max 6, the visual interface seems to die. Annoying as this means I have to switch between Max 6 and Max 5 for different projects as I like using Henkes Granulator. Also Liines Kapture doesn't work for me at all ...

Re: FCB1010 for flexible live control

Thanks guys. The reason I want to keep exclusive off is that I am using a launchpad to navigate part of the set and would like to be able to control multiple instruments at once. Would it be less or more responsive to use max for live instead of bomes midi translator? Would it be difficult to progra...

FCB1010 for flexible live control

Hi there, sorry to put another FCB1010 thread but I couldn't find an answer to my question. I am wondering if this is possible with the FCB1010. The idea is to have 8 tracks with the same audio source for all. I want to be able to use 8 of the buttons on the FCB1010 to turn on/off 'arm' for each of ...

Dynamically change presets and samples live.

Hi, I've been compiling a few live sets with a variety of groups I play with and I keep coming into the same problem. That being, I use a lot of different custom presets live for Operator, Sampler, Henke's Granulator etc. and have to be able to switch between them all seamlessly. So far I have multi...

Thanks for the help. Running OSX so will search out the .plist file.

I've mailed the crash report made and will mail support if the problem persists.
