Flattening?

I got around it by using live 8.0.4 on my laptop, bouncing the frozen track to a wave, deleting the frozen track and putting the wave file on an audio track. Then saving it and importing on my main machine's 8.0.9

But that really shouldn't be the way

I didn't bother to buy operator, since I don't really use it, but my friend does. We used to swap live sets all the time, and for avoiding the "demo mode" on my machine he used to freeze the operator tracks so then they become standard wave files (until "unfreeze" that of course I never did ...
