Re: Exclude certain tracks from Scene Launch

this is a feature i would like to see added as well, but for maximum flexibility, i feel it should be a clip-based function rather than a track-based function - allowing us to choose whether to exclude items from scene launch on a per-clip basis...

Re: Group Track Macro Mapper?

ShelLuser, Thanks so much for your swift assistance!!! Oddly enough, the drop down menus on your mod didn't work - it somehow wasn't detecting devices anywhere in the set. However, it led me to revisit the original developer page, which upon closer inspection ( , silly me) revealed they actua...

Group Track Macro Mapper?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a device that will give me Macro controls on a Group track that can be assigned to parameters nested on devices or racks contained on tracks within that group. This would allow me to simply select the group track on my APC40 to access those parameters without having to u...

APC40 question: can I access devices nested in group tracks?

hi everybody - just prepping a live set here, and it seems as though - using the default APC40 mappings at least - i can't access devices on tracks that are contained within group tracks, without first unfolding the group track (which i would like to avoid doing). is there something i'm missing here...

Re: M4L - MIDI swing device?

hey broc, right you are!! i recorded the midi to piano roll which verified your assertion - the midi note off is functioning correctly vis a vis duration. not sure why this wasn't translating audibly, must've been some neglected ADSR settings on the synth... silly me! anyway, thanks again - y...

Re: M4L - MIDI swing device?

hey broc.. you're already a total hero on this one but if you wanted to become a SUPER hero, there's one last bit of functionality you could add: note length doesn't currently seem to be supported. it's one of the five editable parameters on the launchpad stepseq, and ideally i'd like for it to be u...

Re: M4L - MIDI swing device?

broc - thanks for your patch, it definitely worked for me, except that since i am planning to use this for step sequencing a synthesizer, the lack of note-off means the last note sustains indefinitely, rendering it somewhat less useful than i would like... amounra93 - thanks also for your patch, but...

Re: M4L - MIDI swing device?

ideally the swing device would be second in the device chain, immediately following the launchpad stepseq; alternatively, a swing module could be integrated as a mod to the current stepseq design... i noticed that the default M4L step sequencer actually has a swing module which i've tried to copy an...

M4L - MIDI swing device?

Hi there! (Obligatory warning - my Max/MSP programming skills are non-existent.) SO: I'm hoping to use the Launchpad StepSeq M4L device in my next live set, but the lack of swing is really frustrating; I've scoured for a simple MIDI Swing M4L device but haven't found anything to simply apply 16-note...

Re: Battery 3

battery sounds great and the samples are excellent, but since i still can't automate 95% of its parameters (even with battery 3.1.1 and 8.1.5's configure mode) i use drum racks instead. that said, $99 is probably worth it for the sample libraries alone.

Live 8 plug-in compatibility Wiki

Is there a Wiki out there detailing which plug-ins are known to be functioning properly with Live 8 and which are still causing issues? Just curious. It would be nice.

Hooray!!!

I think I just had a braingasm when, quite unsuspectingly, I went to the Record Quantization sub-menu of the Edit menu in Live 8.1 and, much to my surprise, saw for the first time something I've been dreaming of for years: Thirty-Second Note Quantization! Thank you so much for implementing this much...

ctr+a/ctrl+u is unfortunately no substitute for on-the-fly quantization when jamming midi notes LIVE...
