Re: Timecode Vinyl in Live (not Serato + Bridge)

If I wanted to do have an enhanced DJ rig, then I agree about Traktor > Ableton.

I use ms. pinky in a looping performance rig, and this is a much better choice for me. I record clips from my master bus, and then use pinky to beat-juggle, or scratch. it has been very stable.

Re: I want a bad ass hardware compressor!

I've used this ART Pro VLA very successfully on drums... it cost me $65 on Craigslist http://tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:VojBsZJcU1ZXMM:http://audioshop.com.ua/images2/art_provlabig.jpg Its a tube leveling amp. I load my Machinedrum up with old slingerland samples and drench it in reverb, then put ...

Right now I'm living in Brooklyn, NY. BUT... if home is where the heart is, then there's no doubt that my home is in Aguadilla, on the west coast of Puerto Rico. I love aguadilla! Some of the most beautiful surfing I've ever had was at Wilderness. I miss the food too. the only downside is the giant...

I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You) is one my favorite songs of all time. I listen to it regularly. The guitar solo is perfection and I couldn't imagine even SRV supporting that song any better. I dig his taste in guitar amplification too= Dumble and Two Rock Custom Reverb 100s. I had a Custom Re...

:D :D :D Thank you for making this. Building the concept into a rack is beautiful and I love the Reset function. I finally got the "Quantised" function to work when realized that the midi channels must be different for the Play Yoke and Record Yoke chains. Using larger 2 Bars and 4 ...

I have been on it for 6 weeks or so without any issues. I have it on all my machines now, and at my job we deployed as an update to the entire city of Santa Clara (city owned computers, not residents) without issue.

Re: Cloning disks - Unlock needed?

My system disk is getting full and I'm thinking about getting a larger drive. I have only room for one drive so I need to replace the system drive with a new one. If I make a clone of my drive (with Acronis) and copy that to the new drive and make the replacement, will I still have to unlock Live a...

I went to my first gay bar in Salzburg. I just picked a bar and didn't think much about the male torso sculptures lining the bar until a man with a peg leg put his hand down my shirt to fondle me. no big whoop. I spent many fun filled all nighters in the Castro district in SF. Some very excellent ho...

I own the white RP6 + the RP10 sub.

I have used all the Rockit monitors and this combination is the best of the series for a small/mid bedroom studio (IMHO).
