Hey all,

Newest version of Ableton suite when rewired into Logic or DP causes AMP to not function correctly. No sound change at all.

This happen to anyone else?

There is no reason that I can see for Ableton to not have Auto-Save.

Cubase has been doing it for 10+ years, and no one's computer has exploded deadly acid yet.

This occured on 8.1.1 btw.

Session is still useless... I can send the audio out to external outputs, and to other programs, but any audio going to the master fader is silent. There are no plugins on the Master.

OSX. 10.5.8 Mac pro Quad 7gb ram.

In a side note, one of my tracks had a clip that went out to more than 1 million bars. I discovered this when I tried to freeze the track for troubleshooting purposes and Ableton asked for 90,000 GB of disc space. Could this have something to do with the audio not being routed to the master or outpu...

I do this all the time: -duplicate track -rename second track "<Trackname>automation" -Delete all the MIDI notes from the "<Trackname>automation> clips. -Record new midi on First track. I find coloring both the original and it's copy accordingly helps with organization. _origin

It sort of sucks, but use an audio clip as your metronome. Then x2 and /2 is easy as pie. =)

Random Crashes when moving clips.

2 times today.

Crash report had 'rewire' all over it.

Also corrupts session as work recovery crashes over and over again.
