Make APC40 clip launch view automatically show active scene?
I use a lot of scenes in my live set which are triggered by a foot controller. As a result, the clip launch view (red box) doesn't reflect what's currently playing back. The solution is to simply use bank select arrows to make the APC accurately reflect where I am in the set. But it's a bit of a pai...

Re: Changing instrument presets and its routing on stage
For what it's worth, I too would love an easy way to change rack/instrument presets. But while we're on the subject of "elaborate nesting chain select methods", I have a set that uses multiple patches from the same instrument controlled live by a keyboard. Is it more processor efficient to...

Make APC automatically jump to current scene?
I'm using multiple controllers and key mappings to trigger specific scenes. Is there a way to make the focus of the APC change accordingly (and automatically)? I suppose I could rely solely on the APC for selecting scenes and/or use the arrow keys, but it would be preferable to have the APC reflect ...

I have been struggling with this exact topic for the last week or two. I'm curious as to whether or not you use one large performance in KORE or break them down into multiple instances. I totally agree that it's far more than a factory preset browser. Also, it's worth checking out the Reaktor Toolki...

Plugin Parameters not displaying
On several of my 3rd party plugins, parameter display fields are not displaying the text correctly. Instead of listing the parameter, patch name, etc. It just shows a bunch of rectangular characters. In the web design world, this might indicate that the requested character doesn't exist in the font ...

Hi, thanks for the reply. This sounds exactly like what I want to do. I'm running Kore and Reaktor as VSTs on a Mac. I am able to select them as MIDI inputs as you described and I made sure both dropdowns are set to that VST. I also made sure that each plugin was set to output midi. However, i'm sti...

MIDI out from plugin
Is it possible to route MIDI output from a plugin to other tracks in Live? I have Kore 2 and Reaktor and would like to send MIDI from them to other tracks. I found a few inconclusive threads in other places, but nothing definitive.

Select specific scene without launching
Is it possible to select a specific scene without launching it? I played around with the scene selector using relative midi controls, which is great for scrolling up and down. But I couldn't figure out how to select a specific scene.
I'd like to jump to a specific scene and NOT launch it.

Launch scene that fades in before the beat
This may be a newbie question, but I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to launch a clip as part of a scene change that includes a fade in or pick up note that starts before the beat. Like a bassline that slides in or a pad that fades in. I want to have a scene launch on the beat, but i'd like ...

Live Racks vs. Kore 2
I am in the process of figuring out the best approach to putting together a live set that will mix external hardware synths, soft synths that are played live, prerecorded and live recorded improvised loops. I bought Kore 2 thinking that it would handle all of the soft synths that will be played live...
