Re: Sampler LFO Lock?
Hi, I know this is old, but I'm dealing with this problem as well. The other way around though. I need the hz setting to lock to the arrangement's timeline. So far I've found a workaround. Automate a switch between hz and sync at a given place, I suggest the beginning of the track and the lfo will s...

Re: seperate effects to overall mix
you can always create your own dry/wet by making a effectrack, creating two chains, one with your on/off effect and one clean. You are then able to map their relation by clicking chain, assigning the two chains to their respective side of the 128 steps of velocity(midi-knob) and fading them like a d...

Re: record quantize midi mapping
you can map record quantize and a lot of other "umappable" stuff with clyphx. search clyphx on youtube, its easy and free, but you´ll need to create clips and then map those clips. the cool thing is that actions will then be quantized to whatever value you desire.

Re: set transpose value
either create more clips which are pretransposed like markmakingmusic says, use mapping with maximum and minimum values or use clyphx or even m4l(which i have no clue how to use though). the first might be good if you are performing prerecorded stuff, but if you are playing live and livesampling the...

Re: EQing problem ?
You might get a bit further with a limiter of some sort, either using the mastering racks included in live and pushing the treshold a bit, or by using plugs like waves L2 or other similar stuff, but at the end of the day i think it comes down to experience. You might just need to try and change it u...

Re: Whys this delay/reverb gotta be so damn hard to accomplish??
sounds to me like a dub delay feedback thingy even though i found it a bit difficult to really hear whats going on in there. anywho, try setting up a ping pong on a return (100%wet), and a reverb on a return as well... the clue is to enable sends on the returns, feed the ping pong delay back to itse...

Re: set quantization via midi buttons?!?
clyphx will be able to snapshot different settings(so will kapture obviously) but with clyphx script you´ll also be able to create clips which you use to change the global quant, these clips can then again be mapped to whatever you want..
