Ableton Racks similar to Native Instruments’ Molekular?
I’m looking for crazy Effect Racks similar to the presets in Native Instruments’ Molekular . I see people using it to quickly get some crazy stuff going on for sound design, so I thought that there might be some similar collections for Ableton’s Effects Racks? Is there anything interesting out there...

Sound Library Manager that can group tags in a clever way?
I’m looking for a sound library manager for my +10.000 files large field recording library. One of my biggest wishes is that I can categorize my tags in a smart way. E.g. have all my “materials”, “mood”, “location”, “microphone” tags etc. grouped together, so I don’t just have an endless tag list. I...

Re: "Clip up/down" with MIDI?
I created this device using your patch from the forum.
I works fine when I click the next/previous buttons, but if I map them to a MIDI controller or a key on my keyboard, they only trigger a clip on every second press. Any ideas about why that is happening?
Thank you!!

"Clip up/down" with MIDI?
I want to use a midi controller to launch the next or previous clip in a track by pressing a button on my controller - just like you already can to with scenes using "scene up" or "scene down" (in the attached image). Do you think this is achievable with Mac For Live, and can you...

Thank you!
Nikolaj

Re: Max 32 bit and 64 bit installed at the same time?
Nice. But when I download the 64 bit version from Ableton, it shows up as 32 bit when I click "about Max"... Anyone else having this issue?

Max 32 bit and 64 bit installed at the same time?
Hi,
I have installed Live in both 32 bit and 64 bit because of some plug-ins. Is it possible to install Max in both 32 and 64 bit as well? And will Ableton automatically know which one to choose?
Cheers,
Nikolaj

Crackling/clicks/pops on recordings
Hi there, I'm having problems with some crackling noise on my recordings, like you can hear in this example (recording of my Octatrack's main out) I've tried recording both with a TC Connect Live sound card and a Alesis io|26 at both low and high buffer size. I'm on a late 2013 MBP. This is driving ...

Digital noise from Collision
Hi there, I've been working on some sounds, using Ableton's Collision. But I just discovered that it makes some digital noise in the end of the sounds. Here's an example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1247155/Collision%20noise.wav Any ideas why this happens? And is there anything I can do to s...

IAC driver problems
Hi there, I am using the IAC driver (Mac) for some dummy clips controlling devices, but I have some problems with the setup. Here's a description of my setup/problem: - A MIDI track is sending MIDI CC 42 to IAC Driver channel 1 - The cutoff frequency of a filter on another track is mapped to CC 42, ...

Re: Can I make a MIDI clip always send the same note?
You can just to that by putting in two pitch devices and turning them all the way down, and then set the desired note with a third pitch device And use the scale device to make it the same note.
Thanks for the inputs!

Can I make a MIDI clip always send the same note?
Hi there,
Is it possible to make a MIDI clip with different notes always send out the same note no matter which note is played? (i want to add some percussive sounds to my synth sounds using Impulse, and I want the impulse it to always receive the same note…)
Cheers,
Nikolaj de Haan

Thanks for the input! What do you mean by the sounds are played together? The suite also has things like trumpet section, is that not what you mean?
