Re: Help with stems for a live show/set!
Thanks for the reply Panda.Ray Definitely need to figure out how to set up a click track for the drummer to play along to...the unwarping is to not have the sonic artifacts that warping produces The backing track will be separated and sent through an Apogee Ensemble to the front of house. The idea i...

Help with stems for a live show/set!
Hello... Just got some stems to put together backing tracks for a bands live shows. They want to use unwarped audio(thats important) and there isn't a BPM for the tracks. The music has some electronic elements but it's actually a lot of guitar/bass and backing vocals that the live band will have to ...

Changing presets...I don't want to! Help!
Hi... I'm using the latest version on Live and running NI's Razor. I've found some midi clips on line that I want to experiment with but every time I start the midi clip it changes the sound I've made in Razor to a preset. How can I turn off this function in Live that keeps changing back to Razor's ...

Re: Using Live to sample into an SP-1200...faking a 45.
Contakt Thanks for the help! Hmmm...close but still lost. I've put a track into "Freeze" Then "Flatten" the track I've transposed the track to +5 or +6 It doesn't speed up the track and I want to speed up the track to put into the SP-1200 to save memory time. What did I miss?

Re: Using Live to sample into an SP-1200...faking a 45.
Thanks for everyones input. The SP-1200 is amazing! One thing: DONT WARP (or if your material is warped, freeze > flatten first). Wait but in Warp Mode switching it from Beat to Re-Pitch speeds up all the music just like you would with a turntable. So if I turn up the BPM it will raise the pitch of ...

Re: Using Live to sample into an SP-1200...faking a 45.
Any suggestions on how much I'm gonna have to speed up a audio clip to have the effect of a 33 1/3 record being played at 45?
It's only an idea right now. Looking for feedback from others

Using Live to sample into an SP-1200...faking a 45.
Anyone have any experience with speeding up a track in Ableton Live (...going into Warp Mode and setting it to Re-Pitch then speed up the tracks BPM) ...and then sampling that into an E-MU SP 1200. ...then pitching it back down in the 1200? I want to get that classic 1200 sound by pitching the sampl...

Re: Syncing Live with tape sync in a Roland MC-202?
Using the CV/GATE IN's on the 202 is a problem because the CPU is before the in's...It's a well known issue with the 202. Some people mod them to bypass the CPU...but then you lose the cool sequencer and have a slightly less featured SH-101. The Sequencer is the fun part. That's why I want to try an...
