also if you want to stay in the complete ableton environment the suites' "session drums" is not bad at all..there are some good multi-sampled rock and pop kits that are all set for drum rack mangling! :D also toontrack sell a couple of kits that are ported over to ableton..you can buy them...

you can't go wrong with toontrack...ez drummer will get you up and running with great out of the box sounds...they offer sampled kits in all styles and usually very cheap ( sweetwater is selling a lot of ezx kits for 39 dollars right now) and there kits come with a ton of midi beats and fills.. I used mostly line 6 pod farm for the guitar and bass.. I also mixed in some revalver III with re-cabinet impulses. The drums are superior drummer 2 and the lead work is a cheap digitech rp250 that seemed to cut through the wall of guitars better than the vst's there's also some operator tucked unde...

just needs vocals...this was alot of fun to put together in live 8...the mp3 conversion killed my drums though

I GOT IT WORKING!!! 1st I uninstalled EZD and then went to the command prompt and called up "regedit" than I searched ezdrumer Multiple times and deleted all of the files left in the registry.. I also de-authorized my ezd plug-in and ezx's ( dont know if this is necessary) than I reinstall...

can't get it to work in 8...probobly because I am on Vista 64-bit

can a kind soul with ez and live 8 verify is it's broken on your system before I bother to reinstall?

I could not get it to work in 8.04 or 8.05. Any one else run in to this? Any solutions?

could it possibly be because I put my live library on a different harddrive?

it actually wants me to re authorize some of my other plugs as well..

just installed live 8 suite and it seems fine..but It wants me to reauthorize ez drummer..

I switch to live 7 and it still is authorized and works fine...

anyone else run into this or no any workarounds?

I just purchased live 8 suite and I am ready to install but I still want to have access to live 7 to complete a few projects and the more mature stability.

What is the best way to install 8 and still keep 7?
