Yes I am unsuccessful in getting anything out of Looper..and I am experiencing similar weirdness as you described.

I7 MBP
OSX 10.6.8
Live 8.2.8.

So what happens to you all when you try the built in audio? The same?
I have been using live in lion (Live 8.2.7) and have not had any dropouts like you mention, but I have noticed that it does take some time when I hit "solo" on a track, before it actually solos it...

Live refuses to open after Beta expiration OSX
HI,
I downloaded and installed the current versions of MFL after the 8.1.b3 pair expired and now MFL 8.1.b4 refuses to open. I tried deleting relevant prefs and application support files... still crashing!
MFL 8.1.b4
2.8 Ghz Octocore MacPro 6 gigs ram
OSX 10.5.8
MetricHalo 2882

I just read thru this thread and you do pose a valid question, that is a basic hang up when I have tried to get fluid control of Live with some of my MIDI controllers. The lack of momentary switching on the host side is sometimes problematic.

Hi fellow Live People,
does anyone know if there is a way to make Ableton Live automatically open any/all of the windows for the plugins that are saved with a given Live set?

HI Lokey,
for our purposes any DI with a ground lift switch will do.
To reiterate, have you tried your setup with "only" connecting the laptop, the echo indigo DJ(with just one of the outputs going to the DI) and then an XLR(3 prong mic cable) cable to the PA?
What happens, and again does the noise ...

Ground loop noises
To all with the AC adapter noise.
The problem is most likely a groung loop. This is created when the computer chassis has two or more paths to ground. In the case of a laptop the ground is 'seen' at the computer's power supply's 3rd prong and at the audio interface's I/O ground thru the PA's ground ...
