Reason Rewire and Ableton PC - workaround.

If you are having troubles/problems getting Reason synced with Ableton, this might also work for you.

1) Load Ableton
2) Rewire Reason
3) Load Orion from Synapse in the background.

By loading Orion, suddenly Reason is responsive from Ableton.

Suggestion: How to optimize/enhance the freeze functionality. When routing midi/audio tracks (the children) into one Audio track "In" (the parent). It would make sense to be able to freeze the parent audio track, so all its children tracks will be merged into one frozen track. When trying ...

Freezing multiple tracks into one track!

Freezing many tracks does release main processor power, BUT we are suffering a huge performance hit on the hard drive 'streaming' instead (especially on Laptops).

So desired is an enhanced freezing function, which can freeze and merge together multiple tracks into one frozen track.

Thanks, I will try this out!

Thou, I still believe is will be a feature for the EQ3 plug-in. Because the best result when working with brainwaves is to mono all polluting frequency at 0-1000 Hz, and only the pure brainwaves should affect the frequencies 0-1000Hz in stereo.

Summarized: Pixel Shaders will Not make any difference in how Live is looking. Pixel Shaders will dramaticly SPEED UP the interface. Pixel Shaders will releasing the main processor from doing graphical calculations. All in all, this is equal (==) MORE main processor power for Audio calculations. Wou...

Frequency mono plug-in

A plug-in (or build into Live’s EQ3 plug-in) which can mono a stereo signal in a frequency range. Example, you have a stereo signal, ranging from 40 Hz to 3000 Hz, but you want the signal to be mono from 40Hz to 1000 Hz and the stereo from 1000 Hz to 3000 Hz. Anyone, if such plug-in already exist, I...

Okay, time for clarifying. I’m NOT suggest skinning or fancy interface stuff.. Pixel shaders does NOT change the look of Live's brilliant interface, it will only render the interface faster (much faster), and that is equal == Live will perform better. LiquidFX, can you please resize your graphical f...

Indeed, the interface should NOT be an animated theme park from hell… I wouldn’t fear the developers would go overboard either, they know their success is based on keeping the interface simple (and of cause the incredible Live audio engine). I see why some people might think that pixel shaders are u...

I would be careful claiming its the 'dumbest. idea. ever.' Why? Pixel shaders can speed up all interface (GUI) action, and at the same time free up power from the main processor: Just a few examples: * Displaying/Generating wave audio data * Zooming * Monitoring feedback And I would imagine that VST...
