I'm assuming that you are turning global quantize to none??

so instead:

Set you're global quantize to 1/32, that way you still get really sharp release times whilst beat matching to decks whilst still maintaining the global synching of all tracks in you're session.

What's the general consensus of this studio controller? I'm currently putting together a studio for a college. You need to make sure that the pads are sending the correct MIDI notes, for impulse, C3 will trigger the leftmost sample, and the other samples will follow suit in the octave from C3 to C4 (8 sample slots on Impulse).
