No VST3 support yet...
In Applications folder Waves, you will find a vst2.4 waveshell... Untested as I'm happy with AU..

Re: novation remote SL MK2 vs mk1
Main differences for me.... MK2 Feels a lot better. Knobs are higher quality and sliders and drum pads also. Back lit knobs and buttons are awesome for live. Crossfader is a welcome addition. The knob that does anything is really useful. Lack of side buttons is a small negative.. Two screens on MK1 ...

Nudge - Finer adjustment when global set to zero
Nudge is great but its not fine enough to really correct things properly if they are a bit out of sync. Can't find and info as to what the resolution of nudge with global quantise set to zero but its to chunky. So many advantages over DJ'ing except for nudge resolution and live looping can just get ...

Re: Macbook's Pro HD upgrade...
Only problem I can see is MP3 ouch!! , use original wave format and be kind to your listeners ears... A 7200 rpm drive will make more noise and run a bit hotter but will be fine and allow more simultaneous tracks and 500gb should be ok also. Either use a fishing tackle box so you can put the differe...

Re: Glitches with "Complex Pro" warp mode
went through all my loops and used whatever sounded best. Almost always complex pro had more depth but was causing phasing in most loops..
Am now using complex pro on about 5% of loops and live set is sounding much better with zero glitching...

Re: My quest for a LOCK TO CONTROL SURFACE button for my APC40..
It's a bug. After trying USB MIDI controllers, regular MIDI controllers, and virtual MIDI controllers, I finally tried the LockButton script in 7.0.15 and it worked perfectly. Saving the same 7.0.15 file out and opening in 8.0.5 shows that there clearly is a bug because 8.0.5 stops recognizing only...

Re: Glitches with "Complex Pro" warp mode
Looks to me like complex pro uses almost twice as much processor as complex and four times as much as beats. Ill try to use it sparingly and see if I still get glitches... Have two live gigs on weekend and its sure to happen there worse that when testing at home so will get a good idea if some compl...

Re: Glitches with "Complex Pro" warp mode
is that where its coming from??? Sound fuzzes out for a tic, especially when launching another group of loops. Plenty of room on processor... Happens on 2.0 macbook (2009) with 4gb ram. 320gb 7200rpm HD helped some but still no fix. Thought I'd have to upgrade as no problem on 2.8x8 mac pro in studi...

Clip automation alternatives or bypass function
Example is a bass loop with no pitch changes in the original file. Then add some pitch changes in clip automation to make things interesting.. As it is now if you want to bypass or change the pitch automation live the mouse is the way, a bit clumsy and could easily miss key some notes... If there wa...
