Re: Let's talk about the CPU !

I think I'll try Live 10.0.1 first. I don't remember this issue being this bad on the earlier versions of Live and the beta.

EDIT: Ok, that didn't help either. 10.0.1 ramps up the fans at no load as well.

Re: Let's talk about the CPU !

...no problems here with a late 2016 mbp and live 10.0.1...some spikes (that don't end up in drop outs) but i have the impression that live 10 runs smoother than live 9... I'm on a 2016 MBP as well. The CPU spikes don't bother me much (no dropouts), but are you saying your fans don't get loud when ...

Re: Let's talk about the CPU !

Running the latest beta here and I don't think there's any improvement there. CPU spikes and fan speeds are out of control on a Macbook Pro. My fans hit almost 5000rpm just by starting Live. Currently unworkable for me. From the beta forums, it looks like it's something to do with the GPU. You could...

Re: Why are push2 pads less responsive when using simpler?

I've been having some trouble with the Push pad sensitivity as well. For me, on some days it's nice and responsive (nowhere near the Maschine though), but on other days the response seems all over the place. I haven't had too much trouble with Simpler patches, more with Drum Racks and playing Lead i...

Re: USB-C Cable vs. Dongle

I've been using the USB-C MBP since Jan this year. I've used the Push 2 with 2 different setups and have faced absolutely no issues. When I'm travelling, I use the $5 USBC to USB 2.0 adapters, works fine, but I would say it isn't very sturdy if you're looking into performing live and stuff. Although...

Re: Push 2 and USB-C compatibility with dock or dongle?

Over the last few weeks I've been testing the Push 2 with a 2015- retina Macbook (macOS Sierra) using a dongle. Haven't noticed any issues so far. Been using it bus-powered that too. Need to get a dongle with 2 USB ports though, so I can hook up a keyboard as well. It should definitely run on the ne...

Re: Disappointed By Push2's Step Sequencer

It's not prone to failure at all on USB power, but it is a lot dimmer than using the PSU. Personally I don't know how anyone can use it like that, and I like my studio really dark most of the time. Some people have no issues with it being that dim though. Ah, even with the PSU hooked up, I only use...

If you use it bus-powered regularly, is it prone to failure? I was so excited when I found out I didn't need a PSU for the Push 2 for my mobile setup.

Doesn't the 'Mix' button allow you to page to the 'Sends' for all tracks easily?

Re: 1 year and $800 later

I have to agree, the Velocity triggering is not on par with say a Maschine. On the latest beta as well and have tried messing with all the sensitivity settings. I get a gating like effect when trying to play faster or trills on a single pad.

Re: Velocity on Push 2: Bug???

I picked up a Push 2 a few weeks back. Been noticing this Velocity bug. It was definitely better in the last beta. While the pads are quite nice, it's nowhere near the sensitivity of the pads on the Maschine Studio I feel :( Playings trills and stuff is so much easier on the Machine's pads. I've pla...

Re: User mode knob value question

I've noticed this issue as well. Just picked up a Push 2 weeks ago. Not sure, if it's always been like this.

One of my Arturia controllers had this Relative vs Absolute mode option for knobs which displayed a similar response. Is there such an option on the Push?

Re: L8 stabel now?

I think it's far from being stable! Of course, if you're running purely on Live Instruments & Effects you might not have all that many crashes. 8.2 still crashes on random tasks as long as 3rd party plugins are involved. I've had this Stylus RMX (dragging MIDI to clip) bug for months now. Do ...

Re: 8.1.3???

I'm running 8.1.3b1 and I've been experiencing random clicks on random channels when hit Spacebar (Start/Stop). If there's a reverb on the channel, it feedsback like crazy upto 26dB and in a fit I search for the volume knob. :( Downloading 8.1.3b2. I've changed the buffer size, no luck. Seriously, n...

Re: virus polar and ableton 8...not pretty tight together...

The drunken arp is a common problem. Some people have it, some don't :| Strange. I've had it in every OS version between 3 and 4. I just hit Space to 'Start/Stop' and if you're lucky, it magically plays alright.
