i gave him an answer over at the NI Reaktor forum AND asked if it's supposed to be at 44.1 kHz and someone else asked about the 8 voices thing...
you need to respond a bit quicker, dude, if you're going to set some 'scientific' test in motion.

using the special (Matrox P650) DX9 beta drivers (from 2004) with 16.8 million colors and max. hardware accel. works, as well -- i.e., no GUI corruption

i found that the corruption no longer occurs when I disable DirectDraw in the DirectX diagnostics and put the Hardware acceleration in the Troubleshoot tab at 'max'

Awesome, thanks Dandruff... I, too, have found Matrox Tech. Support exceedingly helpful and rapid in their responses...
I just wonder, though, why the problem seems to be confined to the Ableton Live/Matrox P650/750 combination...

confirmed that this GUI distortion also occurs with other plug-ins. reducing the Matrox P650 Hardware Acceleration one notch is the only workaround. The problem does, indeed, seem to be in the interaction between Live and the Matrox P650, and not solely Reaktor.

GUI corruption w/Matrox P650 and Live 4 & 5

I believe this is a Reaktor issue since I don't have this problem with any other plug-in but it could be partly dependent on some Live behavior ...

I'd also like to be able to delete ALL of the tracks. Is there a reason why one must remain, besides the Master?

Also, why aren't the higher grid resolutions available in the drop down for the Arrangement view and in the MIDI Note editor? Why do we still have to do the combination of Ctrl+1 and ...

Right-click Copy/Cut/Paste/Duplicate

Yeah, I know you can do this stuff from the Edit menu or press Delete when a clip is selected but why aren't these common functions included in the right-click context menus?

I also suggest a way of entering Track Volume directly in the Session view. I don't like having to switch to Arrangement ...

Re-sizing Live 5 window

results in losing the cpu usage meter for example. it would be nice if when you resize, the extra info. blocks could be bumped to the next row or resized, as well. i don't want to have to run at full screen or maximized all the time.

it's a shot of jameson/bailey's dropped into a half pint of guinness and chugged. there may be slight variations.
