I asked the supplier about upgrade periods but they decline to answer. I think the next trade show will be interesting.

I can purchase an educational licence for Live 7 for a very reasonable price.

Do I buy or do I wait for Live 8 ?

I feel that this is a reasonable question, but I also acknowledge that the subject of Live 8 can evoke very irrational responses.

The UK must have something going for it, we have half the world trying to get in - or so it would seem. Anyway, must dash now, I am off to get pissed and then start fighting ..... where did I put that knife ?

What we have here, is a perfect example of the 'Emperors Clothes' syndrome. Someone comes up with a ridiclous design (charging $700,000)and all the sycophants say it's a very clever and wonderful design. The rest of us are clearly ignorant because we can't see the implicit symbolism and message ...

Why doesn't Live use this alternative from Z-Plane ?
It only uses slightly more CPU juice than the Efficient version currently used.

I noted that Liquid Instruments has upgraded to this and my thoughts immediately sprunfg to Live.

I downloaded the Eleastique Pro 1.5 demo and gave it a listen ...

It's no big deal, but I was just curious as to why Live takes so long to load compared to other applications ?

It takes about 24 seconds (with an empty hard drive cache - and then quicker with subsequent loads)

A little button that lets you keep all the clips loaded from RAM rather than form disk (how difficult can that be ?)

The good news is: if I lose the tooth it will be a lot cheaper than having it capped !

I just tried the super glue but regretably I just glued my lips together - what the f**k am I supposed to do now !

Just broke a tooth (it had a big filling in it) and I know it will need capping - it's going to cost more than the price of Live 5 (educational).

I don't have much spare cash, please advise.
