Flash is 100% redundant with HTML 5. The "there's no flash on it" arguement is dead.

Related question.. With the "blue hand" is it possible to select two separate tracks/devices for device control with two apc40s?

Akai and the others should provide some kind of blank template on there websites with virtual knobs,sliders etc... then you drag and drop to create templates for them to review

A few edits... scrapped 4Device control sections ... only have two hands anyway. Dedicated tap tempo, loop scrub, loop In/out, transpose, a quantize section and tempo slider. the clip select section would be navigated almost like the 40 but only a row of 8 clips. Loop in/out would be a welcome addition too, as well as possibly a tempo/pitch slider. I've got a few additions to this design that I'll upload after work. Great suggestions so far! thanks!

I have an APC40 and I love it. I Like the "idea" of the APC20 but for my needs it functionally goes in the opposite direction. I threw together a quick mockup of what I would have preferred Akai to make. My mockup APC and an APC20 would be the perfect dual APC setup for my particular needs.
