I have had one for well over a year. Never one hitch. Not one pop....click.....nothing. I use DSP Quattro. I was using audacity, but it's a little bare bones. Of course it is free! For 149 dollars, DSP is a steal.

I have one. So far it has been rock solid! Sounds great. I had a presonus fire box, but that gave me all sorts of problems. I like that you can add eq and compression through the hardware and save on cpu usage. Great for me and recording my vocals. Ummm..hmmm...i forget exactly what kind of latency ...

Is that only for pc?^^^

Nah....had a bunch of problems with mine. Recorded audio sounded like a bowl of rice crispies. Got me a Focusrite Saffire instead. SO far the thing is killer. No complaints.

Oh by the way i tried 3 fireboxes....so it was not jusst the one.

i searched under that author and found nothing?

hmm....oh well.....

Anyone who is using this combo care to help me through this? The BCF has these Mackie modes, but do they work with LIVE?

Hey thanks Adam, okay here is the thing, i go to system pref. open the energy saver and click on the options tab...all it has is Wake options and other. Under other, it just has one thing, restart after power failure. Under Wake it has three thigs,wake when modem rings...blah blah....

I don't know, I just looked and I did not see any setting for speed?? there are like three options. hmmmmm.....none for the processor??

2) Laptop/Desktop? Make/Model - Apple Imac G4 15"
3) Operating System - OSX 10.3.9
4) CPU Make Model and Speed - G4 800mhz
5) Amount of Ram / Speed of Ram - 768mb / PC133
6) Soundcard - Stock Core ...
