If you have Suite 9 + M4L, Buffer Shuffler 2.0 might be an alternative also. Sure, it's no Stutter Edit, but you can get some cool results with it.

Still using Live Suite 8 and loving it. Just got the full version of Kontakt and Cineorch and i'm having a blast. Might get some orchestral libraries later on, but i do have everything i need to make music. Can't blame it on Live for my occasional lack of creativity.

I own Live 8 and want to import projects recorded in other DAWs (PT, Logic, Sonar etc). In my mind, the easiest way would be to ask the person to export each track as a separate wav/aif file and send them to me. But i see one big issue with this method: i wouldn't know where to ...

I'm using the paid version of Crashplan and it works great. It was just a matter of setting the frequency of backups, the destinations (you can backup to/from external drives, different computers, friend's computers and even online via Crashplan Central). It's really a set and forget process.
