as I said before, the quality of the filters and the gain staging, particularly. you have to be very careful about the amplitude of individual oscillators, for example. I always create my own presets in Alchemy. And while it is easy to make great sounds, you have to be aware of its sonic limitations.

Yes.
I use only Alchemy and Zebra. Firstly - Alchemy is a great synth. No doubt about that. But the filters do not compare do Zebra's, and as someone else mentioned, you have to be very careful with gain staging.

If I understand correctly, then yes, you can do that.
Just drag the channel into the Live browser (the file browser, not the plugin or the Live device browser) - click and drag on the track header. It will create a .als file that you can drag back into any project.

"collect all and save" in the File menu. You'll have to bounce (freeze, then flatten) all your tracks that contain 3rd party plugins first though.
