Re: Vintage emulating compressor. Good or bad?

Or if you want cheapness, how about AudioDamage's RoughRiderPro?

I like using it for fucking drums up proper.

Re: How to add warmess to your setup for less than 100$

Vintage Warmer is useful if used correctly, IMO. I use it on individual sounds.... never on a bus. And never on anything delicate like a piano or acoustic guitar. Handy for beefing up drum samples...

Still - real tape FTW!!!

Re: Audio artifacts at 30% CPU load

yeah I forgot to mention, I am using a Mac as well. It's a 2008 pre-unibody, but still, I would think Live could handle it. I would love to test my set on a newer laptop and see if I get WAY better results. Mine's an early 2010 unibody MBP. Same shit. Same with built in sound, Firebox and Duet. Yea...

Re: Audio artifacts at 30% CPU load

Me too - on a Mac. If I'm using plugins, 30% = audio glitches. Its not down to inacuracy in Live's CPU meter either.

Always been the case since Live 8. Pisses me off.

eg:

"I had a shit day at work"
"Well, you'd better drink some beer about that"

Re: a new version / beta please...

Scrum has nothing to do with quality or good software architecture. It has to do with managing the process, keeping it agile and close to the requirements. Quality assurance (ensuring that the development results are good) or product management (ensuring that the right stuff is developed) is a diff...
