Ableton Forum

man, we've tried for years to get this up and running, and for a while we did, having lots of performances and having two demos at the apple store, "sponsored" by ableton HQ, and with folks from the forum, pretty cool, have you contacted the ableton guys? the meetup page looks pretty cool...

I would be very interested to hear how you got the Nocturn (Automap) to work with the APC40. I think if no work around is possible the APC40 might have to be sacrificed.... okay i got the nocturn to work with the apc40... i was able to find a thread where it was suggested to turn the controllers on in order with apc40 as the first... but now i still need to get my midi keyboard to work... even when i turn it on last, the apc40 refuses to work. i on live 8.05 on a macb...

My only concern is that it seems I'm becoming preoccupied with the next exciting controller and it's distracting me from music-making (er.. that's what it's all about isn't it?)

I have set both the MIDI Output Port and MIDI Input Port in Automap to 'Off' and this seems to have effectively unblocked Live's MIDI Output Port for the APC40 (no longer orange and now...
