So, seeing as Ableton have no intent on adding this feature does anyone know what other DAW/software has this function?

Does anyone know if this feature will be implemented in Ableton 9?

It's such a shame this has not been added to ableton.

Could someone help me here please.

When I drag an audio file into the arrangement view it just shows as audio 1, 2 etc.
But when I drag a file to the session view it shows the filename.

Is there anyway to change this in arrangement view so the file dragged will show the actual filename?

This is a must for any hip hop sample flippers.

I hope this does happen as the timestretch/warping function is a fundamental part of Ableton so it should be used in drum racks too!

contakt321, Would you mind posting the feature request as you have worded this problem much better than I have.
