I'm having problems sending MSB/LSB messages to an external Roland JV-1080.
I'd like to be able to simply switch from GM mode to performance mode, and back again.
However, I can't get Live to send out preset changes other than basic GM instrument changes.

complex pro is probably the best way to go, but it's also more of a resource hog.
I think once you're done warping, you can just freeze the track and that will help reduce overhead.

I agree - warping is still too clunky IMO.
I'm trying to use a MIDI track as a bpm/beat/bar marker on a song that has a lot of tempo changes, and then when I bring in the audio track, the warp markers are off the beats, or slightly behind the beats.

I'm using sfz with a General MIDI library.
I have 16 separate channels for playback of various MIDI sequences in the cells.
I'm using each separate scene as a song.
When I add in a 'dummy' MIDI cell for preset-change only, the sfz/GM does not change the instrument.

please consider adding double-clicking knobs (such as pan) to reset to 0. (tired of keying in zero all the time).

Please investigate the warp default mode when recording straight audio tracks.
Seems disabling warp mode globally doesn't really disable it when recording audio. All audio tracks in the project continue to default to warp.
Also I'm still hitting the memory ceiling on my new quad-core PC on larger ...
