we have an older driver installed, there is no stand alone driver for the intel macs.
does this mean protools has to be installed to use the digi 002?
this is for my bandmate.. works fine on my powerbook

I saw STS9 a while back and know they use 4 copies of live at the same time.. The guitar player was triggering a sample by hitting a pad quickly, lets say it was "wha, whity, whity, wha, whity, what you got herr wha wha wha" I have tried setting this up in simpler, but dont really get the ...

these three songs fit the catorgory but more along the lines of the flaming lips and super furry animals... all made in live 5 plus a bass, guitars and vocals...

I have live 6 on my powerbook, and my band just bought macbook for recording and i was wondering if it was legal to install my second install on this comp, since its my studio comp, i will be taking the sessions home and mixing and chopping on my comp, it seems like its what the two serials are for....

ive tried a few pieces of firewire ie, mbox, alesis multimix firewire, all of which had terrible latency...

i dont need more inputs, all my equipment fits in my mixer, i use a send channel to send the audio to my computer... i have a remote sl for midi how will the sound be better... im going to rip up the auido and mangle it anyway... and its at cd quailty, the final is going to end up an aac or mp3 anyw...

i have no noticable latencey now...

I am happy with my mixer>powerbook's soundcard setup i have, but for some reason feel like a need to get an audio interface whether it be pcmia, usb, firewire...
I get great sound, hands on flexibility, and its cheap and less to worry about...

is there something im missing...
