Re: IRCAMAX 2 anyone tried it? Is there a way to demo?
Thanks for the info. I have IRCAMAX 1 and enjoy playing with the SuperVPSynth, now that it has actually been fixed after being broken for most of last year. It would be the freezer that I am most interested in too. I have been waiting to hear what somebody thinks of IRCAMAX 2, and waiting to see wha...

Re: MIDI Mapping Suggestions...
I would like to bump this. (2) kills me when I want to use Lemur. Not to be able to save midi mappings for AUs/VSTs in a device rack is ridiculous. Do I want to go through mapping tens or hundreds of Lemur controllers every time I use it? No. Do I want to save vast projects with every plugin I use o...

Re: Support for Polyphonic Aftertouch
After spending hours trying to understand why poly AT pressure messages from TC-Data on my iPad are not reaching my plugins I discover this thread.
Come on Ableton, lack of support for this is antediluvian!

Re: Updated computer, worse performance
I'm on my fifth mac and I'm afraid the bad news is that upgrading your computer from the OS X version it came with to a newer version results in worse performance, without fail.
Restore your original OS X version if you can.

Re: 7.0.4 crashing Live on load
I had a similar problem but managed to find a fix. The problem seemed to have something to do with my default template which included M4L devices. Live opened fine in 9.2 before I set its preferences to point at M4L 7. After I set it to M4L 7 Live would just crash. The fix was to delete the default...

Re: M4L won't update to v 7?
You need to go into the preferences and point Live at the Max 7 executable rather than Max 6.SLEEarts wrote:Updated Live 9 x64 Win 7 to 9.2.
Downloaded the latest version of Max (7.03) from the Ableton Website.
Installed Max 7
Rebooted
Loaded Live. Dropped a blank M4L onto a track.
Max 6 loads.
WTF?

7.0.4 crashing Live on load
Max is crashing Live (64) on load for me (OS X 10.8.5).
I haven't tried any previous version of Max 7, but the standalone runs fine. However, it (7.0.4) crashes both 9.2 and 9.1.10 on loading any device.

Re: Ableton Web Shop is DEAD!
"We've taken Ableton.com down temporarily to make some changes due to the high volume of traffic we're experiencing. Thank you for your patience." Totally foreseeable. Surely you knew from the fact that this has happened repeatedly in the past that your servers were going to taken a hamme...

Re: here we go
It will be interesting to see if the management knows the difference between the words 'unforeseeable' and 'unforeseen' when a marketing statement about 'unprecedented demand' is dressed up as an apology about the servers and the webshop later in the day.
