ok im going to probably come across quite retarded, and its probably just because i havent had much sleep, but where do you find the preferences.cfg file, i cant see it anywhere to trash it

ran the same tune in 4.03 today and it is working fine....whats going on here?....not even using any waves stuff yet...just kontakt 2, absynth and fxpansion guru at this point in the tune, and 5.01 is having major cpu freak outs

I'm having a ram problem aswell, although it seems to be weirdly random cpu shifts....not even running many audio tracks in a new tune i have started in 5, and whilst it spends most of the time sitting a round 14%cpu, i start to play around a bit, and it suddenly shoots up to 60% and wont go down ...

in programs like pro tools, on the mixer, just underneath where all the levels are, there is a digital peak level readout/meter.....this would be very helpful for mastering, and i would think a very important thing to include with the next ableton
