Re: Push for 'traditional' musicians?
I really appreciate the response lacrimae. I will look into it as an instrument in its own right. Mainly I am looking for something that will/could enhance my current workflow. It does seem like push could do that along with being a supplemental instrument in its own regard. I'd still love to hear m...

Push for 'traditional' musicians?
So I've been looking for a way to improve my workflow in Live and I've been researching Push, but I would like some opinions from people who maybe in the same place as me musically. I don't make electronic music and I don't use softsynths or samples. I record everything myself. (and no I don't think...

Re: TouchAble - complete controller for Ableton Live & IPAD
Is the iPad velocity sensitive? In other words can you use the drum pads MPC style? No, it is NOT velocity sensitive. It is with clever implementation. It's already been done in fact. You measure the amount of the finger that makes contact with the screen under the premise that the harder you tap, ...

Re: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
Is there a scene launch button, and if not, can there be? There seems to be no good way to adjust tempos to specific times quickly. I currently use a blank scene named to "140bpm" or similar to just launch and reset the tempo when using my apc40. This is excellent work, thank you very much!

Clip envelope not working in session view?
Maybe I'm really dense here. I could use some help. I have impulse on a midi track, with a clip playing a simple drum beat. After Impulse I have a grain delay. I when to the clip's envelopes and edited the spray parameter on the grain delay to do what I wanted. The problem is that nothing happens wh...

Midi import from logic
So I have a friend sending me midi files created in logic. Problem is that somehow the midi file he is sending me tries to import as multiple tracks, and is in various "clips" along the timeline of what the single midi track should be. Is this a live issue, or is one of us doing something ...

Re: APC40: Collapse/Expand Track Groups
Hi all, I couldn't find any info online on how to collapse/expand the new Live 8 track groups with the APC. So when I finally figured it out I'd thought I'd post the answer here in case anyone else is having this problem :-) * Hold down the 'Track Selection' button (for the group channel) for 1-2 s...

Remove max for live devices?
I uninstalled the live pack, but the devices are still there. I sold M4L, so how do I make sure everything is gone?

Re: If Live 8 was released today at its current build...
I've been using live 8 in a mission critical environment since it released and I've not experienced a single crash.
Quite simply the most stable program I've ever used.

Can you give me an idea of the 'other cases' ?frequentare wrote:Yes . and Yes. issues vary on what your trying to do.
they work well in some cases , sketchy in others.
I am willing to experiment a bit, but if there are relatively major things then I rather not spend the $200.
