I paid 254€ from live 8 to suite (+ live 9 upgrade). I thought, this was a good deal, but if this is true, i kind of regret not having waited. Hm. Did you own m4l already?

For me as a former live 8 standard user, it's a killer deal. I've upgraded to live 8 suite (inkl. Free upgrade to live 9) for 254€. So I get all the instruments, gigs of sounds, m4l and all the shiny new features of live 9. that's not bad at all in my opinion.

I've got the same problem with my launchpad. No idea how to fix it.

You saved my day. I'm a windows user and the launchpad started acting funny lately. It didn't show the correct status from time to time. It always did what it had to, but the light were wrong.
After a few tests, switching off "sync" seems to have solved this problem entirely. I still get it to crash ...

Awesome project, awesome outcome. I might consider copying this idea and doing it myself. I've been fiddling and tweaking on the same songs for weeks now. Time to get something out again. Thanks for the inspiration.

Not exactly true. If you use the sampler to trigger a long sample (as you would do in renoise), and you start playing back the song after the trigger event, you won't hear the sample in live. In renoise you now hear the ...

1)after the freaking millions of screws there are 2 clear-ish plastic "flower" looking things holding the green pcb down ie. they are little expanding retains of some sort. do i/can i replace them after? how do i get the board off of these? sqeeze them together somehow?

That really was good! I think that the Launchpad may be my next purchase, as I am interested in coming to grips with what is required for a live Live show.

I really can recommend the launchpad for this purpose. For the current price it's an absolute no-brainer for any ableton user in my opinion ...

The set is so simple for two reasons:
1st: it's my first set for the launchpad.
2nd: it's meant to be played live. I don't want to push it too far in terms of complexity.
