Watch the bid & you'll see I suppose...
What he says. No idea how much it will go for as I couldn't source any used models anywhere.

Yeah, I know. It's a great collector's item. And a nice piece of analogue kit for vicious distortion. But I need the cash.

Re: With all this glitchy, wobbly and techy music.......

Did you mean melody? Or did you mean something else? Or do you just have really bad taste in music? Apologies, but dissing Aphex Twin leads one to believe that this may be the case. It'd be like dismissing the Beatles on a rock and roll forum. I'm not going to continue a debate with people who site...

Re: With all this glitchy, wobbly and techy music.......

What I find hillarious about this topic is, that pressing some of the links in the sigs at the people rooting for more melody and soul in music, you get directed straight in to trancy/dancy club music, without a single melodic frase in it. Dear friends, making a bassline or a synth stab at cuepoint...

The fact that we've been waiting for a while on a new version is a good thing.

Re: With all this glitchy, wobbly and techy music.......

Can the original poster name this glitchy, wobbly music he's taking an issue with? I love to listen to glitch but the good stuff still has quality melodies: four tet, nosaj thing, flying lotus, pantha du prince... even autechre bury fragmented melodies within their more difficult albums. Perhaps the...

Re: Can I take a simple beat from a song without permission....?

You might want to pick a less well-known track if you're sampling stuff. I'd know that beat anywhere as it's quite famous - and one of the most stand-out things about that Iggy Pop track. Why sample is when it's that simple? Try recreating it with your own sounds and putting a slight twist on it? Or...

Re: How use reason 4 effects in Ableton Live???

There's Peter Tools Hammer... I experimented with that at one point. Looks like the site hasn't been updated in a while but it did work with Reason 3 and Ableton.

Re: Dropouts using mbox 2 with ableton?

hmmm... i had an mbox 1 that suffered from the same issues. i eventually gave up and gave it away. upgraded to an m-audio firewire. this wasn't that reliable, either. currently using an Apogee Duet and Mackie Onyx. both are reliable. zero drop outs.
